Rory Lawrence (Quincy)
Rory Lawrence was born and raised in Mulberry, FL. While attending Mulberry High School, he was “bit by the acting bug” after taking a drama class during his junior and senior years. Since his teenage years, Rory Lawrence has held a strong passion for acting as he attended numerous plays and independent movies with the aspiration of one day becoming an professional actor. After moving to Tampa, FL, Rory Lawrence decided to fully re-commit himself by joining an acting school led by his coach, Corinne Broskette. It was there that he was introduced to Stanislavski’s Method Acting and gleaned from his coach’s experience as a protégé of Lee Strasberg. Using Method Acting, Rory Lawrence learned how to draw on his own emotions, memories, and experiences to perfect his portrayals of characters.
Jay Washington (Elton)
Jay was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and relocated to Florida in 1987. Jay has been involved in the arts since 1999 and has done several stage plays to include Lorraine Hansberry's classic "A Raisin In The Sun" directed by Rory Lawrence of RQL Productions, "Saul's Juke Joint' written and directed by Tony Stinyard of AMS Visions, and "Saved In The City" written, produced, and directed by Tiffany Edwards of Stillwind Productions. Jay has also done projects for the internet including "Todd the Zombie" written and produced by Deon Gibson of Act Write Media and also an online sitcom titled "New Day" written, produced, and directed by Ann Thomas of Mind Body and Soul Productions. Jay's desire is to continue acting professionally and to form his own production company and create projects for film, television and stage
Kevin Toth (Sal)
A native of the Chicagoland area, Kevin Toth moved to Tampa to pursue a career in acting. Kevin has appeared previous RQL theatrical productions of A Raisin in the Sun, 12 Angry Men, and Between Calls. He has also appeared in independent films as well as national commercials and television shows. Recently he has returned to Chicago to receive further training at Second City.
Davin Reid (Cindy)
Davina Reid is a student from Venue Actors Studio in Pinellas Park, FL. This is her third production with Director, Rory Lawrence. Her other appearances include “The Trip” and “RL Stage Variety Show”. Davina has also appeared in several Independent films from the Tampa Bay area, including Rod Grant’s “Mr Engagement” and most recently Nick Naylor’s “Pawnz”. Davina shares the love for acting with her late father and continues on her journey in memory of him.
Robert Smith (Tom)
Robert grew up in South Florida where his love for the arts developed. His first on stage experience came when he was the lead role in his middle school play called “I Hate War”, ever since then he has not stopped wanting to learn and do more in the performing arts world. Upon graduation of high school in 2007, Robert enlisted in the US Army, and deployed to Iraq for one year. When he returned to the states, his passion for acting became even stronger and it showed by performing in over 5 stage-plays in less than 2 years. Roberts continual prayer is for God to “Show me, me. So I can do what I’m called to do, not what someone else wants me to do.”
Tiffany Edwards (Kathy)
The Founder of Stillwind Productions, Tiffany Edwards has over a decade of experience in the performing arts ranging from theatrical roles towriter and actress. Tiffany Edwards is a performer by nature who first noticed her love for the arts while performing in high school musicals, skits and dramatic presentations. Tiffany has a unique way of bringing laughter to audiences all around. She has written several dramatic presentations that have allowed her to gain an appreciation for directing and writing. Tiffany's goal is to create dramatic moments in order to bring families together so that relationships are strengthened and God is glorified.
Jack Gordon (Jack)
